2022 Neighborhood Award Winners Announced at 22nd Annual Conferance
The Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference, Inc. (VSNC) is proud to announce the winners of the 22nd Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference’s ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ Awards who were recognized and honored during the virtual conference held on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
The following groups and/or individuals were the recipients of the 2022 Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference’s ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ Awards, as follows:
Project of the Year

Youth Group Effort of the year

Estelle H. McCadden (April 28, 1926 - January 31, 2022), Founder, VSNC, Inc.
VSNC, Inc. Honors the Life and Legacy of our Founder and President Estelle H. McCadden.
Estelle H. McCadden departed this life on January 31, 2022, at the age of 95. She founded the Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference in 2001 and was our President until December, 2021.

Through the years, the annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference, Inc. Awards Program has recognized the accomplishments of outstanding neighborhood associations, organizations, civic individual and youth groups from across the Commonwealth who work diligently to enhance the quality of life in their communities.
This year's 2021 Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Awards Program will focus on recognizing grassroots projects, activities and accomplishments that strengthen & support neighbors and their neighborhoods- Neighbors helping Neighbors. If your neighborhood project or activity focused on efforts to support neighbors during the Covid-19 Pandemic and/or to increase equity and access we invite you to enter the VSNC, Inc. 2021 Neighbors Helping Neighbors Awards Program.

VSNC Announces Site of the 21st Annual Conference
VSNC Extends Deadline for Award Nominations to Monday, July 8, 2019
The 2019 Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce that the deadline for accepting entries for the conference 2019 Awards Competition has been extended until Monday July 8, 2019.
The 2019 Virginia Award Nomination Form, eligibility requirements and application guidelines are available by visiting the 2019 conference website and visiting the 2019 VSNC Neighborhood Awards page found on the conference website, www.vsnc.org.
VSNC Announces Changes to Conference Registration Rates
As such, in order to keep the conference viable for years to come, the VSNC, Inc. Board of Directors has decided to raise the conference registration fee to $100 for adults and $85 for youth beginning in 2019. (more...)
