The Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference, Inc. Board of Directors and 2022 Conference Planning Committee is now accepting 90-minute workshop proposals for virtual presentation at the 22nd Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022, 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Due to Covid concerns, this conference will be virtual.

The theme for this year’s conference is:

Neighborhoods: The Threads of a Community’s Quilt

Just as strong, multi-colored threads are the foundation of a beautiful and vibrant quilt; so are strong and diverse neighborhoods, the foundation of healthy and vibrant cities and communities.

VSNC, Inc.’s goal is to provide a variety of workshops on a multitude of relevant topics focused on the conference theme on behalf of our attendees. Workshops should be designed to educate and inspire the youth and adult neighborhood leaders, advocates and residents in attendance who are engaged in various aspects of neighborhood work and volunteerism. We are looking for workshops designed to provide varying levels of content and presentation formats in order to better equip our communities in various stages of change.

Proposals should focus on the conference theme and be submitted electronically by the closing date of July 31, 2022 following the format of the 2022 VSNC Workshop Proposal Form available on the conference website at www.vsnc.org.

For additional information, contact Ms. Brittany Bailey, 2022 VSNC Workshop Chairperson, by email to: sugg4025@gmail.com.

We hope you will plan to join us virtually on September 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM as we continue to work together making all neighborhoods across Virginia - neighborhoods of choice!
